What should I make for dinner?

Should I make frozen fish and chips or just heat some leftover meat pies? I'm kind of tired, baby has been growing and wanting to nurse every 30 min and kept me up half the night last night.

  • If it were me, I would go with leftovers. Tell them if they don't want leftovers, they are more than welcome to make themselves a sandwich!

  • If you have chicken and taco seasoning, you can throw it in your crock pot and let it cook all day. It is yummy on tortillas with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.

  • All I have right now is the frozen kind! When I make it I use Haddock and batter it in a mix of flour, salt egg and some beer. I usually fry it in veg. oil but if I have beef drippings I'll use that instead. For the chips I just cut up potatoes into thick pieces and fry them in veg oil. I'll lightly salt them when they come out. We usually have peas and carrots with it. I have made my own Fish and Chips in months!!

  • Pasta with Finger-Licking Peanut Sauce
    1/2 cup low or no sodium vegetable broth
    1/4 cup chunky peanut butter (I use smooth)
    1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
    3 tablespoons brown sugar
    2 tablespoons rice vinegar
    2 teaspoons grated peeled fresh ginger
    2 teaspoons chili paste with garlic (add to taste, it is pretty spicy)
    4 garlic cloves, minced
    8 ounces uncooked whole wheat angel hair
    1 pound firm tofu, drained and cubed (optional)
    1 cup (2-inch) sliced green onions
    1 cup shredded carrot
    Combine first 8 ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat 5 minutes or until smooth, stirring frequently (this can also be done in the microwave; use a tempered glass bowl, like Pyrex, cook for 20 seconds, stir, repeat until smooth). Remove from heat. Cook pasta in boiling water 8 minutes, omitting salt and fat. Add tofu, onions, and carrot; drain. Place pasta mixture in a large bowl. Add peanut butter mixture; toss ge
