Should I?

I have a can of Rotel, but the date on it is from may 2008. I need it for a recipe..is it safe to use even though it's from 2008? It smells fine, but MIL said that tomatoes can give off a toxin if they are to old.

  • Hmmmm I would say no, but lets remember it's in a can. Canned food last a lot longer then fresh foods.
