How much tv do you let your toddler watch. My dd is almost 2,5. And she loves it alittle too much.

  • Well, as long as it's kid friendly shows-, I think it's okay. They have helped my daughter learn stuff. (No tv doesn't teach her for me, I work w/her too) Dora etc are almost like her friends-kids learn best when they learn w/their friends. She also plays a lot in between them too though.

  • If id let her dd would watch TV non-stop... But she knows our routine & I stick to it... Morning in the AM while we wake up (so 1-2 shows) but the tv goes off(or channel changed to my stuff) when we get up to have breakfast.
Tv doesnt come back on until after her nap (if she doesnt take a nap, no tv).. sometimes she gets cartoons after a nap, sometimes she ask for something else like time on the computer (she has games) or a candy..

  • Some days my DD does not watch any tv, other days she watches around 2 hours of tv, & other days she watches 4 hours or more. I personally feel that as long as tv time is kid friendly & well balanced with other activities, it does not matter how much they watch. But that is just my opinion.
