i'm almost 39

I'm almost 39 and am thinking alot about maybe trying to have our second child. My son is soon to be 8. It took us 5 1/2 years into our marriage to get preganant the first time. I take nothing for protection. My husband is on anti-rejection meds and i always worry that with my age and the meds that he takes would we be risking the health of the child. Just wondering.
