When looking for a daycare is a dog a big...

'NO" for you? Does it matter what size or breed the dog happens to be?

  • As long as the dog has no aggression issues (to be determined by me and my husband, I would NOT take the owner's word for it) and is never left unsupervised with the children, preferably kept in the back yard or baby-gated into the kitchen instead of running around with the children, then I don't have an issue with it.
    Hubby and I have a 70lb boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier mix, he is an AKC Canine Good Citizen, wonderful with our 15 month old DD, great with the cats, but I wouldn't blame someone for not wanting to leave their child with me, he does look intimidating!

  • I am a dog lover and we have a dog in our home ... we have a golden retriever. But I absolutely would NOT take my girls to a daycare with a dog - ANY dog.
