What if he food shops?

But all the food is junk. He just went to get a major operation from all this horrid eating. It could kill a person. Now if he food shops, I have to go all over with my cart, hoping what is in his cart isn't crap. We always fall short of good normal food. Now the children only eat restaurant stuff. I make good italian dinners, and pork chops, fish an chicken, and no fat, just good clean oil to cook in. (not deep fry)
Before his major surgery, his last food cart was 90% cookies, crackers, whole milk, creamer, chocolate bars, and bacon. UNREAL>

  • He will do the same type of shopping either way, with us or not. When he goes alone, he will put the exact same things in the cart as with me.

  • If he wants to eat himself to death, you can't stop him.
Continue to purchase and fix healthy foods for yourself and your children.

  • Plan meals and snacks for the week. Base your grocery list on what you need to complete your meal plan. Tell your spouse that if he buys anything not on the list, there will be no nookie for a month.
