For the ladies that say their baby talked at 4 months...

What do you mean? Actual words? Or babbling?

  • A baby at four months hardly can hold down a conversation since they don't have all their teeth till a lot later to create certain sounds. I don't think four month olds can say much.

  • me, you don't want a kid that young talking. By 12 months, my son could speak sentences and by 18 months, Could ask things that I couldn't even figure how to answer to a kid his age. He could say Paleontologist...and asked me once, "Is it? Tell me honestly". I had to ask where he knew that before I could even answer. He told me he heard it on Toy Story when Buzz asks Woody if the Hat looked good on him.

  • My son started "talking" up a storm around four months. -meaning babbling. At six months he is still babbling.
