  • 77 24/7, I have opened windows and doors on cooler mornings to air out the house. Doesn't happen very often but I do take advantage of it when it happens!

  • Air condtion?? I've got my heat on now LOL (I live in Northern IL).

In the summer when we run our air: it's a 76 24/7
In the winter when we run our heat: it's 68 24/7

Our house is drafty so when it gets down to 70 in here we have to bundle up some, socks, layers (turtle neck and sweater), throw blanket to cover with when watching TV. I rather do that then change the thermostat!! Those things don't cost me money LOL

  • Wow. We leave ours on auto. I haven't lived through a winter in this house, so I can't say. But since April it's been set on 69 heat/72 air. That means if it gets below 69 in here, the heat comes on, and if it gets above 72, the air kicks on. I haven't actually touched the thermostat in a while. I realize that sounds chilly, but for some reason it's not. Maybe it's because we have practically zero shade around our house. Oh, and I live in NC.

  • Just wondering what would y'all do without your air conditioners? Seriously! with they way the future looks we may have to live without the comforts we have today.
