  • Go get him checked. Then if he has no issues. Start slowly feeding him different stuff. Maybe different baby food with texture.

  • He needs to see a Pediatric Specialist. He may have a blockage in his throat. Call your Pediatrician ASAP & have him recommend one. What has your Doctor said about this??

  • Sounds like a Sensory issue. Lots of kids have sensory issues....they dont like certain noises or lights....lots of people....or maybe a certain material, like satin or corduroy fabrics. Some have food issues. Certain textures set them off or even colors or smells.

He wont eat anything at all? Have you noticed he will eat some things like smooth textures but not rough ect.

They can do sensory testing on him. How is otherwise...his speech his play skills?

  • I would definitely get in to see the dr to talk and have him examined to see if there is something more serious going on.

  • There can be several things, but my son was DX-ed with sensory issues. He would always touch and gag, and still at age 7 is doing much better. Are there other things? Basically my sons senses are heightened, and certain fabrics bother him, light, noises and other things. It is best to talk to your Doc, and they can guide you in the right direction

  • sounds like an issue that the ped should address... and honestly soon... have you told the ped about this? it's unusual for a healthy, run of the mill kiddo to have issues... it could be a blockage, a sensory issue, or just weak muscles... but something that needs to be looked into.
