  • Ask your Pediatrician or the Doctor who performed it.
Don't you have a followup scheduled?
Every child is different in this procedure and healing.

  • I'm a mother of twin boys born November 2009 & I know the feeling,
I kept putting Vaseline around the area for about two weeks.. to just be sure... so there was no infections...

  • i'm not quite sure the experience of the previous poster, but my ds's ped said specifically not to pull on anything!! let it heal. all i did to my now 11m old son was change him with vaseline and kept him as comfortable as i could. he's doing great and it healed great. they told me to stop the vaseline after about a week. because after that it's really not doing much. but hey, who could say that 2 weeks is hurting anyone?
