Who is remembering an anniversary OTHER than 9/11 today?

Not to take away from 9/11 or the victims . . . I'm wondering if anyone else is remembering an anniversary today. My father died 17 years ago today, and since the attacks, 9/11 is a double whammy.

  • My cousin's birthday is today, and he was born on "THE" 9/11.... we celebrate life by celebrating him - but in time we hope that we won't have to make the extra effort.

  • i think of all those that lives were lost. The tragedy we'll never forget. I like to think and happily remember all those that have birthdays, anniversaries and good days today too. I'm sorry for your loss.

And this is why we have a virtual unknown playing the role of the President, and our country is the way it is today! The apathy of American citizens is pathetic.
