i wanna make some chilli anyone got a recipe of their own??

  • 1 pound ground beef
    1 liter of V8
    Any vegetables that you want to add to it
    1 can Kidney Beans
    3 home grown jalapeno
    Chili Powder and Curry Powder to taste

    Put all ingredents in pot. Let simmer all day. Check every five minutes throughout the morning until the meat is throughly cooked and separated. Cover and reduce heat. Let sit all day. Stir it when you think about it. Pull the jalapenos out before serving (or at least warn people about them).

  • When i make chili i just start out with 3 or 4 kinds of beans,celery,onion,green pepper all cooked togeher with the ground beef, drain and add 2 cans tomatoes and 2 cans tomato sauce with 1 cup water and a packet of chili mix then go from there if need be I will add more chili powder, garlic pepper and simmer for at least 30 minutes

  • Best Chili Ever – you can use any bean; 1 can = 1/5 cups home cooked
    2 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes
    4 cups vegetable broth
    1 (15-ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
    1 (15-ounce) can white (cannellini) beans, rinsed and drained
    1 (15-ounce) can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
    1 cup frozen baby lima beans or regular lima beans or corn
    1 cup chopped onion
    1/2 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 can tomato paste
    2 tablespoons chili powder, or more to taste
    2 tablespoons dried Mexican oregano or regular oregano (or more to taste)
    2 teaspoons ground cumin (or more to taste)
    1 teaspoon ground coriander (or more to taste)
    1 to 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
    1-2 Tbl masa, mixed with cold water
    1/2 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese
    1/3 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
    Salt to taste (I add this last)

  • If you don’t have a slowcooker, this can simmer on the stove; stir and add liquid as needed. In a slow cooker, combine all ingredients but the masa, shredded cheese, cilantro and salt. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours. Five to 10 minutes before serving (depending on temperature of slow cooker) add masa and water mixture, cover and cook for about 15 minutes. Season, to taste, with salt and other spices.
    Just before serving, top each serving with shredded cheese and cilantro.

  • Chili

    1 lb Ground Turkey or Beef
    2 Cans Red Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed
    1 Can Bush Beans, mashed
    2 Cans Diced Tomatoes and Herbs
    1 Cans Crushed Tomatoes
    1 Large Diced Onion
    2 Large Diced Green Peppers
    4 tsp Crushed Garlic
    4 TBS Chili Seasoning
    Salt and Pepper to taste

    Shredded Sharp Cheddar-Sprinkle over bowled chili

    Brown the ground turkey/beef until no longer pink; drain, transfer to a large pot. Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and cook over low heat for at least 2 hours, simmering all day is best.

    Serve with homemade buns, buscuits, garlic toast/bread

  • 1 lb. ground turkey
    1 can of each black & kidney beans
    1 can of corn
    1 28-ounce can of diced tomatoes
    1 28-ounce can of tomato sauce
    1 large diced onion
    Whatever hot sauce you prefer (I use Frank's Red Hot) to your taste
    Chili powder to your taste
    About a teaspoon of cinnamon (I eye it)
    About 1/4 of a cup of brown sugar

    Put in slow cooker on low for 8 hours, serve with cornbread

  • I make in the crockpot. I cook ground buffalo meat with onion and then put it in the crockpot. Add several cans of all types of beans: chili beans, black beans, kidney beans, whatever you like. Then 2 or 3 cans of diced tomatoes (I like the ones that have the chili seasoning in them) I add chopped up bell pepper and celery. Sometimes I will add a can of corn. I use salt, pepper, garlic powder and chili powder for seasonings. If you like it hotter you can add jalepeno peppers to it or cayenne pepper. I cook it on high for about 4 hours
