How to military people get paid? Do they get paid by rank or what? Is it different for everyone? Are they weekely checks or monthly? i know you get more if your married but that all I know.

  • Ranks and the amount of time you are in it is called Time in Grade. Yes you get paid on the first and 15th of the month. You get paid more per dependants as well. And if you overseas you get a COLA cost of living allowance.

  • bimonthly 1st & 15th is what my friend gets paid on, he's Army

  • you get paid on the 1st and the 15th of the month, and yes i do believe it based on rank, and time in service, you do get more if you are married, and more if you live off post..

  • And then there is special combat pay as well.
