  • We knew that we didn't want the feeling of "buying" a baby by paying thousands upon thousands of dollars so we discovered that fostering to adopt was the route for us.

  • We wanted a baby to bring home and not have to worry about whether or not he/she would go back to his/her biological parents and we heard about an agency that had a really good track record of matching pretty quickly, so we went through that agency and were matched in 4 months.

  • I explored all the options and really it was by the orchestration of God that we were put on the path of international adoption.

  • First, remember that any fees are to pay expenses - agency fees, medical exams, etc.

    Adoptive Families magazine puts together a really comprehension adoption guide each year. They cover all types and even provide information about agencies around the country. You might find it in a bookstore magazine section. You could also try their website.
