What do you think?

My moms name is Jane Susanne. We don't like either name very much but we want to name our daughter [if we have a girl] after her.
Her birth flower is Violet [and she is obsessed with anything purple]
My husband likes Eleanor Violet, and I like Addison Violet.
I don't think either really flows amazingly, but those are the names we like...and nobody ever says your middle name anyway right? ;)

So, what do you think, or do you have other suggestions for a first name?
Our daughter is Kennedy Quinn..

Oh and yes, I know Addison is very popular, but I really love it enough to look past that.

  • Addison Violet is very pretty!

  • I like Violet, I'm neutral on Eleanor, not partial to Addison (and it's not because it's overused, I just don't like it.) Amethyst just sounds like a stripper name to me.

  • I love them all, but I may be a little partial because my youngest daughter is named Violet. :) Eleanor is actually a name we considered too, before settling on Violet. I think it's adorable for a little girl, and a woman can choose to go by Nora, Ella, or several other variations if she wants. I know you said you don't like Jane or Susanne as names, but either one would actually make a great middle name for Eleanor or Addison. Addison Jane is particularly cute, and she could always go by A.J. later if she wanted. :) Eleanor Susanne flows beautifully too.

Anyway, I'm not much help. I can see several options and I like them all! :)
