I'm done with Facebook.....

I love Facebook but can't stand the high school drama that sometimes goes along with it. After about a year of being on Facebook, I have decided to deactivate my account. It feels good!!

Does anyone else feel the same as me?

  • I haven't been on facebook in about a year, I wish I knew how to deactivate the account.

  • I avoid drama. If someone starts any with me or concerning me, I delete them from my friends list. I've had no problems so far.

  • for me it was my DH suddenly wanting to share the account and he just took it over and had EVERY post posted so that you couldn't see anyone else's or mine so I just let him have it. I tried setting up a new one just for me, but I didn't want to set everything up fresh all over again. So yeah, I'm done with FB as well.

  • I hear people complaining about childhood drama on facebook all the time.. but apparently my life and friends are boring because I have never had facebook drama and only heard of a friend of a friend having facebook drama

  • Yeah I think it can be pretty lame. My SO's mother follows my posts and aggrivates the shit out of me. But I keep it for all of my friends who DON'T cause drama and who I couldn't keep in touch with in any other ways.

  • mine isn't full of drama...I did delete someone this morning though because all she ever posted was hate towards muslims and Obama- we were friends about 20 yrs ago and she had found me- but I just could not deal with her posts anymore

  • Nope, I don't have drama on my FB. I have only good friends and family, FB helps keep us connected. The only person who causes me significant drama is blocked from contacting me and viewing my page.
