What does the "D" in DH stand for?

I'm newish to cafe mom and been trying to figure this out. Here are some options I've thought of: dear, darling, disoriented, dead, deranged, disciplined, dorky, daffy, disinterested, domineering, desperate....I could go on! It is bugging me!!!!

  • haha I actually still read the DD as damn daughter. I cant help it that when I see an abbreviation with a D I think of damn. lol I don't like any of the DH, DS, DS. I think they also annoy me bc who says that? Like when you are actually talking to your friends you dont refer to your kids or husband as "dear" all the time do you? I know I dont. It just sounds cheesy to me. Even though in chat they are not actually saying it....just reading it and interpreting it feels cheesy to me lol

  • It's also in front of S & D, as in Dear Son or Dear Daughter. I'm guessing the "less positive" words are reserved for the hubby!
