  • I buy spirit wear and participate in fundraisers that directly support my son's class, but I don't make him participate in dress up days or anything if he doesn't want to.

  • Nothing. That's the school's job. I mean, we teach them to enjoy the school they go to and be proud of it and engage in activities, but really for the most part, its the schools responsibility.

  • I think it's silly, meaningless tribalism. but then , I'm not much of a fan of much of what makes up public school
