ASD-Asperger's. He was diagnosed last Dec. Do you ever re-evaluate or is it just what it is.

Is there any need to re-evaluate? Even the school psychologist agrees so I have no doubt in the diagnosis I just have no idea. Who over sees what he needs? DO you re-evaluate after a few years?

  • aspergers is a form of autism and it comes in different levels. the fact that he has it will not change but his level may. my nephew was diagnosed at 4 years old and was fine untila year ago when it hit a non functioning point. keep his evaluations going and make sure the school he goes to has a program that is specific for autistic children, although aspergers is considered a higher functioning form of autism he still may need the teaching geared toward it. good luck.
