  • tortilla soup is traditionally a brothy soup, but you can add cream to it to thicken it up a little. Or even sour cream, just add it right at the end before serving.

  • I'm trying to find one like the soup I order at restaurants (I've asked them for the recipe but they won't divulge) ... SUPER thick and tasty. All the ones I find online are brothy but that's not what i'm looking for.

    add 1/2 cup heavy cream (found in the dairy isle by the milk) to thicken it up. If thats not enough, add 1/4 a cup at a time until its how you want it.
