  • A change is nap time routine for one day will not hurt him. Get him up earlier that day and have him take an earlier nap sooo that he is not a Mr. Grumpy for the party. Go and have fun!!!

  • Yes one day a "vacation" for the normal routine will not hurt him. It's when it's day after day after day that it can become more problematic. You might want to try an early nap that day or an early bedtime...

  • As the other moms said - one day won't hurt. He may nap later or may not nap at all. Keep a close eye on him starting about an hour and a half before his usual bedtime. As soon as he shows signs of being tired, get him into bed even if you have to cut the bedtime routine short. You might need a couple of days to get him back on track.

  • Have him take his nap before or after the party... or let him skip the nap for that day & put him to bed a little early. He'll probably take a short nap in the car on the way there or back, and that might be enough to keep him happy for most of the day.
