Healthy snack ideas for school??

DD is in preschool and its my turn to bring in a healthy snack to her class. It cant be anything that is high in sugar. They tend to eat cheese and crackers or fruit everyday so I want to bring something different. Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

  • what about dried fruit?? dried apples, pineapples, bananas etc...my daughter used to looooove dried fruit..still healthy, but a lil different than the usual..

  • Stuffed Celery Sticks filled with softened cream cheese; sliced or grated hard cheese; cottage cheese; peanut butter; tuna fish (plain or mixed as a salad); egg salad -whichever.
    We like the peanut butter with raisins ("Ant's on a log")

  • Take cookie cutters and two pieces of soft bread. if you use small cookue cutters you can get two small sandwiches out of the bread. Put tunafish or chickensalad in the middle.
    Another one is take biscits b4 cooking. Wrap them over those small franks. They're little for little hands. put in oven til brown.
