PAMPERS WITH DRY MAX

If you are using these diapers and your child has a diaper rash it may not just be a simple diaper rash. I really can not understand why there has not been a recall on them yet. Here is a link to the consumer affairs website about it..... http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.consumeraffairs.com%2Ftoys%2Fpampers.html&h=0bb07zTRvhE7A-cYEZfDPMvhRAw

  • I happened to hear something about it on the radio a couple of months ago and tried to tell my sister. She had some of the pampers without the Dry Max and then bought a box about a month ago and her little one has a horrible diaper rash right now.

  • The Dry Max are the newest ones. I don't think they are causing problems with every child just an awful lot of them. Pampers sent my sister a 3 page form to fill out and requested she send them back 3 of the diapers. I think they realize they are having a problem but don't want to cause a panic.

  • I used Pampers from birth until the company began using the DryMax formula. It wasn't until DryMax that my DD got severe chemical burns. I switched to Huggies and never had a prob. with chemical burn since. There was a recent press release stating that there is no connection between the DryMax and the chemical burns despite the 4,700 incident reports, but I stick to my guns! I know the effect it had on my DD.

  • That is exactly what I am talking about. I really feel like they are setting thereselves up for a huge lawsuit because this is world wide. I am very disapointed in them.

  • we've used pampers since dd was born, and she uses dry max. haven't had a problem with them, but then again, she only wears them at night and naptime now. even when she was wearing them more often, she didn't have chemical burns. I'm assuming the problem varies from child to child.

  • My kids are way past diapers but even when my oldest (now 17) used the Pampers of back then, he always ended up with terrible diaper rash; never happened with any other brand so it makes you wonder just what exactly is going on.

  • I used Dry Max on my youngest and he did not have a problem with them. (he is now in pull-ups and working to potty train, otherwise we would still be using them).
