Have you posted a question and notice some of the answers are "hidden?"

I have a pending question in current events and one of the mom's answers are hidden. I'm curious why I can't read her responses (even if it might be hidden from others). I would be interested in her opinion, even if it is inflammatory.

  • if an answer gets voted down too many times it is hidden.

  • I've never seen that (I know which post you are referring to) - I've seen answers get hidden and there is a plus sign next to them so you can still read them, but not completely hidden. I saw one of the responses before it got shut down - the use of the "f" word may have had something to do with it?

  • haven't seen that but its interesting -- prob profanity or too many vote downs would be the answer like suggested above
