  • It is completely normal to have not gained any weight yet. The belly bulge is most likely bloating. An unfortunate, but all too common symptom of pregnancy.

  • you're only 9 weeks, you have plenty of time to gain weight and then worry about gaining too much.

  • It's fine if you gain no weight at all the first trimester. The majority of weight gain will occur in the last trimester.

  • Calm down. You are only 9 weeks pregnant. Most women don't even begin really gaining weight until around 20 weeks or so.

  • I didn't gain a single lb in my first trimester. In fact I lost 7lbs. Now at 29 weeks I have only gained 10lbs (so 3 over my my pre pregnancy weight).

Normal weight gain in the 1st tri is usually 1-3lbs so at 9 weeks you don't really want to have gained already anyway.

The bulging is gas and bloating. Sorry it sucks, but good news is it does get better. :)

  • trust me once you start gaining weight you are going to want to try and slow it down with how fast you end up packing on the pounds I was the same way now i am 22 weeks and have gained a total of 15lbs

  • If you've been experiencing morning sickness, not gaining weight is perfectly normal.

  • I think I gained four pounds by week 9 and at week 14 I've only gained 6 pounds. My doctor said it was okay as long as I gained 10 pounds by week 20 it was okay.

  • i lost weight in my first trimester and i'm in my second already and have only gained back half of what i lost. My doctor said it's normal. He said as long as i'm not losing 10 pounds every week then it's all good. I lost 8 pounds and have gained back about 5. Everyone different.
