Help remembering the name of a old tv show on the Dinsey channel in early 1990's

It was back when the Disney Channel had to be paid for monthly by your cable provider. I remember my mom calling and asking how much it was per month. It was back when they had the Mickey Mouse club, Some where Alice and wonderland show with real people. the mad hatter had all purple. They had this show with a real lady who lived alone. she had a sofa and inside it had a tree. inside the tree it had a fake chipmunk female more like puppets. Anyone remember this? If so please tell me the name LOL oh and the lady always wore ugly 80's looking dressed and she had a clip on earings haha

  • Hmmm... vaguely familiar...

I remember Under the Umbrella Tree, with Iggy the Iquana and some female rodent puppets, among others...lots of art and music and the kinds of struggles friends get into... that show (like so many others) was Canadian, and the woman in the weird clothes was an opera singer in real life.

There is also Big Comfy Couch, with the odd puppets of Lunette the Clown...
