my son school took him to the ER cause of a lump on his throat..a whole nother story..but i was sitting here typing on of my other post..he saw it an mentioned to me that the local Children Hospital test kids over 12 for AIDS/STD'S now..not sure if its with or without their permisson..
what do u think good or bad idea...he said he took one...

  • its a great idea. why would someone have a problem with potentially finding out something early though to treat it? HIV can be transmitted a host of different ways, outside of sex.

  • imo it's a good idea. you wouldn't believe the rate of gonorrhea and chlamydia in middle school

  • I think they should. The doctors need to know if they and others are at risk while in their care so they could take extra precautions.

  • those tests have to be ordered by a physician and the order has to be medically indicated by the patient's history and presentation. random testing doesn't just happen. OMG
