Louisiana authorities report oil sightings from Gulf of Mexico spill

WTH is going on here?? Why was this story so UNDER reported and NOW being swep under the rug!? Where are all the envoromentalists and save the planet peoples?

The oil is STILL there. No joke. Do you think this is being handled well?? Or do you think the gulf waters are being MAJORLY screwed!

Here is a list, released by Louisiana emergency officials, of areas where oil was sighted recently. The list is not a comprehensive tally of areas affected by the Gulf of Mexico oil spill.

  • well there is still oil out there..... they are still cleaning it up. i did see alot of studies that concluded that the gulf waters are healthier and beginning to recover faster than they first anticipated (and the studies were from bp, govt., and another separate firm.... forget the name just now) so i find that encouraging. all i heard is that the cleanup of surface oil was different than expected bc the sun played a bigger part than they thought. lol, you think that the gulf spill story was under-reported??? that's all they talked about on the news until now and now all they talk about is 9/11 and the mosque drama.

  • I think that it is being handled as best as possible for something this unprecedented. The one guy that made a bafoon of himself has been removed and the rest is pretty on target as far as responding to a spill of this size. the real question is, should the spill have happened in the first place? No.
