what is the difference between an egg roll wrapper and a wonton wrapper??

  • They are shaped differently. Wonton wrappers are square and egg roll wrappers are oblong.

  • they shouldn't unless you make the dough yourself. then they are different recipes.

  • thats interesting. i made recipe the other day at my pampered chef show, and it called for wonton wrappers. i had some egg roll wrappers on hand so i just used those, and cut them into quarters. then one of the guests said something about the wrappers being different from each other etc. i didn't think it was true, but i wan't sure. thanks!
