my mom has to have a bone marrow biopsy :(

her white blood cell count and platelets have been very low in her past 3 blood tests and keep dropping. this last test she had, the doc did not even hesitate to say she needed to have a bone marrow biopsy done.

i know that we can't know anything until we get the results back and she won't even have the test until october 28th. how can i deal with this until we get the results back? anybody else go through this? i'm scared and i can't imagine losing my mom. she is only 48. i am an only child. i would be devastated. how can i not focus on that? and just wait
*note* i am not religious
thanks

  • My mom had leukemia. Try to keep positive. There are always options. Be strong for her! My thoughts are with you and your mom. If you want to PM in please do.
