Do you alway give your kids the right amount of fruits and veggies?

  • we eat at least one fruit and/or veggie at every meal and at snack times to get as many as we can

  • No but I try to give them a fair amount...I also buy V8 fruit juice to help me out :)

  • I try, that is all I can do ----but IMO I give them lots of veggies, like sunday night we had a casserole with three veggies. Fruit is easy to get down them.

  • Produce, especially many fruits has become quite expensive and I can't always afford to give them the recommended # of servings of fruit. They love it and would eat multiple pieces of fruit daily if they had the choice. Unfortunately, many of the cheapest foods are the least nutritional. I have to be very creative to make sure they get as well balanced of a diet as possible.
