One True Religion

How can anyone say there is one true religion when no one can even agree on what certain holy books say? Everyone has their own interpretation of holy books.

  • I believe that there are many paths to truth, and that The Ultimate Truth is bigger than can be contained in one understanding. :)

  • They can say it if they believe it. I do not have to agree with them. Everyone is free to make up their own mind about it. But disagreement does not negate their belief nor does it offer proof that their belief is incorrect. Both are a matter of faith.

  • God's Word is infallible, absolute truth .... our ability to fallibly interpret it does not negate Scripture or the validity of it.

  • I don't believe that there is one true religion. I think that a lot of religions worship the same God, only in different ways and forms, and they don't even know it. I do not believe that only those of a certain religion go to Heaven.
