how do you get your baby to quit bitting myself and others

When she is mad she bites.

  • My 18 month old has done this once or twice. I firmly tell her no, we don't bite & put her down or walk away. I'm sure they do this out of frustration, but they need to learn that it's not acceptable & that it won't get positive attention.

  • if you are holding her when she does it put her down and step away and she will learn that its not ok and she wont get held if she is going to bite

  • This is so bad, but I bit her back. NOT HARD, not enough to leave a mark. More of a firm nibble. But it only took 2 times and she doesn't bite anymore.
