    (CU isn't really a denomination, its more like fundamentalism, if you get what I mean. You can be Methodist and Universalist, just as you can be Baptist and fundamentalist)

    There are a few out there, but it really comes down to the individual church. Methodism tends to be. And Universalism, while not a denomination, is rather liberal.

  • Probably depends, liberal in what way. I think Episcopalian churches can be liberal sometimes.

  • i think the United Methodist church is pretty liberal...i dunno about most liberal. the UM church accepts homosexuals and they allow women to be ministers...there motto is "open hearts. open minds. open doors." im not a member so i could be wrong, but their commercials make them seem pretty liberal.

  • My friends Episcopalian church is definately what Id call liberal and from our chats that seems to be the norm.

  • I don't consider the Unitarian Universalism to be a Christian denomination ... so I'd have to go with either United Methodist OR any number of non-denominational churches who do not ascribe to any particular doctrine.
