Cheap toilet paper or expensive toilet paper?

My dad buys TP at the dollar store, 4 rolls for $1. It is terrible stuff, LOL!!! It hurts to use and you need one roll if you do more than pee, KWIM?

I buy Charmin and he always gives me a hard time about it. "What is the point of spending $3 on something you are going to just wipe your @$$ with and flush away anyway?"

SO, Cheap TP or Good TP???

  • TP is something you just can't scrimp on. good for sure. Maybe since men only have to wipe butts they don't care, but we women have more of an interest in it, kwim?

  • We use Charmin. TP and paper towels I don't cheap out on. You end up using a lot more of the cheap stuff so it turns out not to really be much of a bargain, imo.

  • We use a store brand that is cheap but it feels just like an expensive kind. We DONT buy paper towels or napkins.

  • I buy Scott because it's in the middle as far as price, and it lasts a LONG time! I get a pack of like 12 and it takes a few months to go through lol

  • Actually, my grocery store just came out with their own. Tried it and it is very comfortable to use. It is by no means the cheap stuff. But, costs less than the top brands. And as I said, very comparable in comfort. Guys are funny with TP. Many if not most think the way your dad does. But, they don't have to use is as much as us girls do. LOL. KWIM? And, maybe most men have hairy butts (?) so the softness doesn't matter anyway? Who knows. I bet they'd have something to say if you gave them a basket of leaves to work with! LMAO!
