How do I get him to stop?

Saying "What" or "Huh" After everything I say? He'll be 3 on friday, and this has been going on for a couple weeks....I repeat myself once or twice. I know he can hear me. He can hear me in another room, when he wants to. I'm so tired of saying something and having to say it three or four more times...

  • Don't repeat yourself! End of story. If he says "huh or what", just remind him that you know that he heard you. That is the only way we have gotten my niece to stop.

  • Ignore it! Don't repeat yourself. He'll get the picture.

  • I agree on not repeating yourself. Ask him if he heard you, and then ask him to tell you what you just said so you KNOW he was listening.

  • Might consider having his hearing tested if it continues to be a problem.
