  • My daughter was the same way. Just give her some prune juice with water. If that doesnt work then your gonna have to do a supository (sp?) It wont be painful for her so dont worry :)

  • She'll be fine. Babies get irregular too.

  • How old is your DD? My son is 6 months and until he started solids, he popped every 3 days. I think she is normal.

  • nope, dont be worried, my son did this too, and this is about the time when they start going from multiple times a day, to every other day, or every 2, or 3, etc, but my Ped told me, that if he ever went 7 days, to give him a call.. I have not had to do that.. thankfully.. if you want to help bring on the magical moment, a bit of warm water will help.. say less than an ounce.. but warning, fireworks will happen. also a rectal thermometer helps too.. leg crunches.. my son sometimes gets a little fussy when its his time, and thats when i help him with some peddling, or what have you.. cause right now, at this age, they are learning how to move their bowels themselves and notjust a spontaneous poop.. Good Luck,

  • DON'T give her prune juice and water or suppositories. She's only 3 months. Is she breastfed or formula fed? Because breastfed babies can go up to 10 days sometimes without pooping. I'm not sure about formula fed babies. But I'm sure she'll go when she needs to. I would have to agree with kaleigh111.

  • My son is breastfed, and he only poops once every three days. (Sometimes longer, sometimes sooner) My doc. says its fine as long as he wets his diaper regularly. I freaked out the first time it happened though too. Hope this helps!

  • ive read multiple times that around that age babies can get to the point where they only poop once a week. just call your pediatrician to make sure shes not constipated. im sure shes fine if shes not fussy and peeing alright.

  • Is she breastfed? Breastmilk is efficiently digested, with very little waste. Sometimes that means babies can go DAYS without having anything TO poop.
