  • C'mon....a HYST???? Can't you just type it? Hysterectomy. There. It isn't THAT hard to type is it? Or does it just sound 'real cool' to type "Hyst"???
Sex should be fine....if it isn't ask your Doc. Oh,I mean Doctor.

  • No, it's not that hard to type hysterectomy. Just shorter that's all...

  • wow gertie.... way to be mean. i'm sure you know that they don't have spell check when you write a question so i would have typed that too instead of butchering it just to get bashed by someone telling me to learn how to spell. but i guess you bashed her anyway..... damned if you do.... damned if you don't. but back to op. did they do a radical hysterectomy? or just remove the uterus? i know they don't do as much 'hormone replacement' now, but if they took out your ovaries too that is probably the reason. but have you tried the vaginal suppositories? they are supposed to provide more moisture for a longer period of time (i think they are meant for women going through menopause, but that is due to hormones of course, and hormones might be causing your problem too).

  • ask the doctor if you have any question. you should be fine and sex should be even better now that you can't produce any more babies. while you are on the computer research hysterectomy.

  • ok.... well i would try the suppositories to begin with and see if that helps. did you try astroglide? it has no perfumes or dyes, but i will say that doesn't mean it won't give you problems. i can't use it, but everyone is different. buy a small bottle and if it doesn't go well you could always just throw it out. the suppositories would be alot less messy though ;)
