  • Oh, but be very careful with Henna, it is PERMANENT and if you don't like the color you will either have to go through an insane amount of work and money to get rid of it, or let it grow out.

  • Henna isn't a good one unless you are SURE that is waht you want.. once it's on, it is on, and aside from shaving your head you are stuck with it, can't color over it or strip it etc..
    so i'd stay away from that..

  • brewed tea or coffee, tea gives it reddish highlights, coffee darkens my hair.

  • I have friends who've had a lot of luck with henna, especially with dark hair. It depends on your color so various shades are available...basically blends of different types of henna. It also conditions so your hair is thick & soft for weeks. I use what's called neutral henna for the awesome benefits of henna without the color. I use Rosemary oil for red highlights and camomile tea as a rinse for blonde hair is an almost auburn brown, and with my coloring I can go either way.
