Do you think $4,000 is alot of money for a reception?

It would be from 5pm-2am so about 9hrs.

  • I think so. But I got married in Vegas. Then we went back to Texas and had a reception in my father's backyard. We went cheap.

  • so that's without food included, but open bar? it sounds reasonable still, i guess it depends on what food package you will get if it stays that way lol

  • I think what it really depends on is your financial situation. If you can afford it without causing financial strain, and you are getting what you want, probably not. How many guests are you having. For 50 guests....that could be a lot (again depending on the food and details of the reception) for 150 guests could be a bargain...unless their serving hot dogs.
