I've been thinking about starting a project over winter to make my grandaughter a doll house. Not to sure where to start--thinking maybe boxes as I'm not good at cutting wood etc.
AC Moore is a crafts store... here is a link to some doll house kits.
Looking at these has made me want to build another one!!! LOL Good Luck.. .have fun!! ;o)

best thing to do if you don't want to use wood is check out local flea markets, craigslist, etc for pre made ones and personalize it.. or here is one that is premade that you can personalize:
you could use this, then paint it, put little shingles on the roof, maybe some planter boxes etc.
