  • How about a good old fashioned scavenger hunt using Fall as the theme. They would have to collect things like a page out of a calendar for the month of Oct, a whole clove for making spiced apple cider, a fall leaf, ect.

  • As him... maybe a day at the Cider Mill with close friends and family... a hayride also...
Take him to a bakery or store to pick his own cake design out...
13 is one of several special b-days he will have, so why not start something new and
let him pick everything out including making his favorite dinner... or how about a at home
movie night with the works.... those are fun...

  • I would suggest a game system party or card party ( game system like Wii or PlayStation 3 --- card games like yu gi o or how ever it is spelled. ) Invite his friends over. Fix light refreshments and let them play tournaments all day. Maybe have a few prizes for the best scores. The refreshments could be simple---- nachos, chips, snack size candy bars, the pre-packaged donuts, brownies, honey buns etc and let them have a day of it.
