Need Help with Daughter's Bedroom Paint Color!

Hi,
We're remodeling & are building bedroom for 8yr. old daughter (11' by 15'). There's medium low light from big window on north wall. Flat ceiling-slants down on 2 sides & has natural(somewhat lighter) pine(wood) on it. All trim is medium stained oak. We put a forest wallpaper mural(trees-all different greens) on one wall. Some greens in mural are very bright( yellowish in photo). Need color for other walls. Maybe green(best w/ mural?). Maybe more "grown up"color-won't need to change as she gets older. Going for "nature" feel. Grass Cloth & Corn Husk Green(Behr) suggested @ Home Depot, but got samples & too blah. Very light color maybe? (Not blah or too bright). Looking at Behr, Pittsburg, Sherwin Williams & Valspar paint. Suggestions of exact color name/brand appreciated! • I wouldn't go with another green, it would be too much. I would go with a nice neutral beige color.

  • I was going to say a yellowy beige color.

  • Any suggestions of a specific beige color by name/brand?....Can't seem to find the right one myself...I have a lot of different chips I'm looking at and none of them seem right. Still might go with a green if I find the right one, but the right light beige may be a possibility.
    Thanks!

  • Hi…My daughter picked out a color called Soft Suede by Pittsurg Paints, but I’m not sure about it. She changes her mind too much for me to just go with what she likes because by tomorrow she could like a different color instead. If anyone could give me an opinion on that color…does it go really well with the mural and pine?..Too close to the pine color?…(the pine is lighter than in photo). If anyone thinks it’s a good color or maybe not quite right please let me know. I have a hard time just looking at a paint chip. If anyone comes up with another color(name/brand) that would look good with the mural and pine, I’m open to any suggestions. Thanks! Kathy
