  • Thats sweet of you! =).. Ask some of your other friends to help out.. and do it someones home, not a building get together place. You can find games to play online.. like BABY BINGO! All that takes is for you to print out the BINGO sheets. You can go to the dollar store and get cheap candles as the prizes.. I agree with PP.. have everyone bring a dish.

  • Pot Luck party at your house..hand made invitations...requesting that a dish or dessert would be appreciated. And there are a lot of baby shower games you can look up online or you can go to the library and check out some baby shower party books...you'll find a lot of stuff in there. It doesnt have to be expensive..or really cost you anything. Its very nice of you to want to do that for her :) Maybe some of your other friends feel like they are in the same boat...they want to do somethign for her but don't have much money? Maybe you all can get together and brainstorm. Good Luck and have fun!! :)

  • Baby showers are usually given 1 to 2 months before the due MONTH.

  • Do a bake sale in honor of her.
Get your neighborhood to help out if you can.
Do you or her go to church?
If so maby you could ask if they could print an article for a shower there.
    Good Luck.

  • really dont need alot of money for a bay shower. When she about 7 months give her a baby shower tell all her fiend and her mom as well, and just make sure you have a baby show cake and some drinks. That all you really need, You can make the cake yourself.

  • Why can't you just get a group of her family and friends together and make a reservation at a restaurant and have everyone pay their own way (except the guest of honor)

  • Ok this is what you can do, if you can cook, and you have at least $30.00 you can do it:
get some chicken wings from the grocery store season and put them to bake. make a huge pot of spaghetti. Ask an older friend to "donate" a cake for your party- this works well if the friend can really bake. make some punch from lime-aid and sprite, but have coffee and or tea prepared too. Now here is the good part: get some toilet tissue for games, like measure her circumference, taste test the baby food, and get some dollar store letter magnets and a little board, to create a baby name in 10 seconds. Take a lot of pictures, and You will have thrown such a wonderful party. I've found through the years, that people really don't need much of an excuse to party or much money. The food is the main part and if you do that well, everything else will take shape. Good luck, this is sooo nice of you!

  • How about a Mother Blessing instead??

Do you have a living room?
All you need is a place~ have the guests contribute a side dish (potluck) and each person can be in charge of an activity.
IMO, it's soooo much nicer than a baby shower!!!
