How much does a filling cost?

I have two (small) cavities that need to be filled. How much is it without insurance?

  • I think it depends on what type of filling they use and the dentist themselves for the most part. I'm by no means an expert that's just what I'd think would be the case.

  • I just had one that costed my $160. The anastetic (sp) was included in the price, but the x rays were extra.

  • my dentist charges $249 plus anethesia per tooth.

  • If they are small it shouldn't cost too much. You'd get an exam anyhow first and then they'd quote u a price.

  • god, dental is crazy $$ here in Alaska! It would cost us $600 or more without insurance.
