I want to make mongolian beef with rice but i dont have

sesame oil, peanut oil or hoisin sauce. here is the link

  • You can try it without (substitute Canola for the sesame oil), but you're not going to have the depth of flavor. A little peanut butter can work for the peanut oil, there is no substitute for the Hoisin sauce that I'm aware of. Good luck!

  • you cannot sub. peanut butter for oil!

    I suggest you buy some of the fancy oils, at least sesame. And you can substitute teriyaki for hoisin but I would just buy the hoisin sauce for your recipe to be the right flavor!

    And once you have some hoisin and peanut oils you can make some really yummy thai recipes! :)
