  • My boys are only 1 year old so the only people who drive them around are my mom or me. I wouldn't let them be driven around by people I don't know, for more than just the reason that I don't know how well they drive. i mean idk if they text and drive, idk if they drink, idk if they would leave them in the car. I mean some of this is paranoia but i'm allowed tobe a little paranoid when thinking of my kids lol XD

  • We shared driving to different sports' practices and things after school with parents of our sons' friends. We knew them pretty well and it was mostly among families living in the same neighborhood.

  • When my kids were younger, we all shared driving kids around but we made sure we knew the parents beforehand. There was one father I know that I wouldn't let my kids ride with him. Didn't trust him at all.

  • I never have. My DD started pre school, but I cannot see car pooling, for I have no room in my car for anyone else's kid. CAR SEATS!

  • No one has ever driven our kids anywhere but us. I would never just trust anyone to take my children anyplace. Even people who seem nice can be the ones you should worry about. I'd have to really know someone before I felt comfortable allowing them to take off with my child alone.

  • I haven't "let" anyone other than family drive with DD simply because it has never come up. If it did, I would ask for a DMV print out as well as proof of insurance.
