Are you in labor if your contractions get closer together when you walk around and when you lay down they get farther apart?

  • no, that is most probably braxton hicks. Generally actual labor will not change with position, but Braxton Hicks will. Get a glass of water and empty your bladder, then lay down for a while. If they seem regular and worse in intensity after an hour or so, call your doctor. Good luck honey!
