Which would you choose?

Would you rather publicly renounce your beliefs or loss your child (have them removed from your home)?
Disclaimer: This question is not meant to imply that I feel people should have their children taken away because of their beliefs. I am simply asking out of curiostity.

  • Renounce my beliefs because I could care less what people think of my beliefs, they are mine. I would rather keep my child.

  • I would do anything for my child. Even play lip service to anyone requiring it. I'm sure God would understand.

  • renounce my beliefs...they are just words, it wouldnt change my heart. but my child is a life, something much more precious than mere words.

i figure Jesus forgave Peter for denouncing him and he was just trying to save his own skin...and he did it three times...surely God can forgive me for doing so to save a child.

  • Renounce Jesus? Nope. Does that mean I do not care about my children? Nope.. It means I TRUST the Lord in taking care of my children.

So, basically, you would rather your children to go into foster care then to just renounce your faith? I never said you actually had to change what you believed, I just said you had to renounce it.

  • I'd renounce my beliefs in a heartbeat. Just because I say it in public doesn't make it true.
