alright, so im just wondering what everyones thoughts are and im a first time mom so i am not sure about anything, really. but i am 36 going on 37 weeks and my doctor said im almost completely thinned out and i am already dilated one cm. her head is down and everything but does it seem a little early? everyone usually says first pregnancys are usually late so im just wondering. everyones also saying that i can be at 1 cm for quite a while before she even comes too, but others are saying since im almost completely thinned out that i could go soon.. haha any words?

  • Babies are unpredictable.it means nothing. You could walk around like that for 5 more weeks and be perfectly healthy.

    Spend this time wisely. Freeze meals. Do laundry. Sleep!

  • You can stay 1 cm for a while. Just depends on when the baby is ready to come.

  • :-), Everyone is different. You can not predict it other than you are not far away. YEAH You will lose your plug before you start to go into labor. It looks like a big chunk of mucous with a little bit of blood. Once this happens you will soon start labor. Stay busy and the time will go faster. Prepare some meals and freeze, work on small projects, get your hospital bags packed (get some of your favorite sweets or snacks together), maybe some manicure items, birth announcements, stamps and addresses , magazines etc. Good luck !!   • I stayed 3cm for two weeks. Its so hard to say, because everyone is so different. Either way, at 37 weeks you don't have too much longer. Congrats and good luck! :)

  • get the dilation done without pain is the way to go. No not too early your body is just gettting ready. Good luck on your next end-ever. Get sleep now wile you can..
